PLAN IN PUBLIC No. 5
These are the first five questions you will need to answer to determine the prioritization number of your task.

Drop Dead Date(1-9)
Does this tasks have a hard date with serious consequences for failure?
Examples:
9-Renew contract with AWS.
7-Get liquor license before holidays.
5-Obtain passport for overseas business trip.
3-Pay taxes on delivery van.

Duration(1-9): How much time is needed to complete the task, start to finish?
Examples:
9(40hrs+-) Rewrite SOPs to reflect new system and priorities.
5(20hrs+-) Reimage old laptops with new software package.
1(2hrs+-) Make copies of office keys for new managers.

Reach(1-9): How many customers, employees, or suppliers are directly effected?
Examples:
9(all new customers) Add new options to checkout screen.
6(some clients, support team) Add input form to support screen.
5(sales team) Create shared folder to upload new PDF contracts.
1(one person)-Correct spelling of employee street address.

Impact(1-9): How much will customers, employees, or suppliers be effected?
Examples:
9(Major and Strategic 7-9) Add save option to Cart on checkout page.
5(Mid and Operational 4-6) New calendar allowing employees to schedule days off.
2(Minor and Regulatory 1-3) Add a Terms and Conditions page to website.

Confidence(1-9): How sure are you about this task prioritization
Examples:
9(Absolutely sure 7-9) This is a repetitive task I’ve done it may times.
6(Pretty sure 4-6) This is a common task and I’ve done this a couple times.
2(Unsure 1-3) This is an unusual task and I’m basing my estimate on similar tasks)
