PLAN IN PUBLIC No. 7
Over the weekend, I built the first test of my SaaS product using Google Sheets.
My initial design
creates a new simple scoring system that is applied to six existing prioritization models. A task is scored against each of the existing models, and those numbers added summed to give the final score. At this time, all input prioritization models are weighted equally.
I tested my model on three tasks I wanted to complete this week.
- Create an alpha test for my SaaS product.
- Find a name for my SaaS product.
- Share my plans and progress in my blog and on LinkedIn.
As it turns out, the test I created to rank my tasks, ranked ‘Create a test to rank tasks’ as the most important task. This may be a case of Confirmation Bias, but that shouldn’t be a surprise.
