My New App – ‘DEAD or ALIVE’

This is a VB Net WinForms app that checks if a website is up and running. All you need to do is enter the complete URI address (“http://cnn.com/”), or a shortened version (“cnn.com”), and then press the “Press” button. The app will respond based on the site’s availability. The input box will then become Read Only until you press the “Reset” button. To make it easier to edit, the text will remain incase until you manually clear the input box.
